Holiday 2016


In-person registration will be held on Saturday, October 29, from 9am to 1pm. After this date, mail-in registrations are accepted, if space is available. ALWAYS INCLUDE A SELF-STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE FOR CONFIRMATION AND MATERIALS LIST. Registration checks are payable to the Arnolds Mills Community House. Material’s fees are payable to the instructor. Fees are non refundable unless the class is cancelled. The AMCH is located at the junction of Hillside Road and Abbot Valley Run Road in Cumberland.


JINGLE BELL SNOWMAN: This very tall stylish snowman sports a top hat and bow. He is carrying a shiny jumbo jingle bell. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL: This is an itsy bitsy wool felt framed penny rug. Santa and woodland animals set in a snow falling night scene. Complete with a wooden frame painted in your choice of color. WINTER NOME: This adorable snowman is embellished with silver garland and wrapped with icicles. He also has a large bow around his neck. Color may vary from the sample. BUCKET SNOWMAN: Put this on your bucket list! You will be making this snowman’s head that looks like he is popping out of an old pail or maybe he is melting in to the pail. UFO: Have lots of fun with fellow crafters working on your unfinished projects. An instructor will be there to assist you in completing your projects. JARED COFFIN HOUSE WREATH: This is 16” wreath is made by using real cranberries and greenery of pine and boxwood. It is a little tough on your fingers but well worth it in the end. You will need to bring your own ribbon for a bow. All supplies provided. PINE TREES and PINWHEELS: This wall hanging has four sashed pine tree blocks placed in alternating directions. There are pinwheel blocks In the center and corners. CURLY CUE BASKET: A basket that was given to me from a friend inspired this basket. I made a few changes to decrease the time in making it. This basket has a solid wooden round base and the sides of the basket have rows of twisted weavers. It is very unique. BUNDLED UP SNOWMAN: This is a very special snowman. He is one of the largest snowmen in this series but what makes him so special is his handmade sweater. With a top hat, old-fashioned glasses and a striped bowtie, he is well dressed for the holiday season. FOOD FOR THE HOLIDAYS: Cranberry Jalapeno Jelly. This easy recipe will make 7 – 8 jars for holiday gift giving. BEST FRIENDS: Two snowmen in one class, the first one is carrying a wrapped gift and has a black hat and bow. The second one is slowly melting in his fleece stocking cap and homespun bow. SNOWMAN UNDER GLASS: This is a 5 x7” framed painting of a snowman’s features with a fabric head inserted behind the features .The paper background has a winter scene.
