In-person registration will be held on Saturday, January 21 from 9am to 1pm. After this date, mail-in registrations are accepted, if space is available. ALWAYS INCLUDE A SELF-STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE FOR CONFIRMATION AND MATERIALS LIST. Registration checks are payable to the Arnolds Mills Community House. Material’s fees are payable to the instructor. Fees are non refundable unless the class is cancelled. The AMCH is located at the junction of Hillside Road and Abbot Valley Run Road in Cumberland.

WINTER HEART DOOR MITTEN: Decorate your
door with this wool mitten. It has a red blanket stitch
heart in the center and a jingle bell hanging from the
bottom. You can fill the mitten with greenery and
berries.

QUILTED TABLE RUNNER: Dress up our table
with this stylish table runner. This 18 x 36 runner
would be fitting for any season. Sewing and rotary
cutting skills are required. Bring your sewing

PAPER HEART SNOWMAN: Make a 9 inch
adorable snowman holding a cluster of musical
paper hearts wearing a red velvet bow. This is the
perfect Valentine snowman.

QUILLOW: It’s a pillow that turns into a
quilt. By using a preprinted pillow panel (or
use an orphan block) plus 2 fabrics of your
color choice, you will create a 40 x 56
blanket. Think of using a sport theme fabric
for cold days sitting on the bleachers
watching a game or flowers theme fabric for
a chilly afternoon on your hammock.

PEANUT BASKET: This 11 x 5 “ basket has a
wooden base and handle. It has 2 separate
compartments, one for peanuts and one for
empty shells. There is red and blue banding
around the top and bottom for accent.

COTTON WASHCLOTHS: In this class you will
learn how to knit these handy cotton
washcloths. Create a raised design in the
center using simple knit and purl stitches. Bring
your own cotton yarn and size 7 needles.

EMBRIODERED LUMBAR PILLOW: In this
two part class you will hand stitch the front
panel of your pillow with flowers and leaves
using a variation of the blanket stitch and chain
stitch. The second class, you will be machine
sewing your pillow together. If you are an
experienced sewer you might want to add trim
or piping around your pillow. All you need to
bring are a pair of scissors and a 6-8 inch
embroidery hoop.

*********************************** KIDS CLASS ***********************

CUTE GLASS MAGNETICS: Make 8 one inch
oval magnets for your fridge or locker. We will
work with flat glass pebbles, mod podge, and a
selection of pictures and patterns from up-cycled
comic books, and stickers. Feel free to bring
copies of your own pictures (family or other) if
you like, but it is not required.
Children under 7 are welcome but should be
accompanied by an adult to help when needed.
If you have a glue gun please bring it to class.
