REGISTRATION FORM In-person registration will be held on Saturday, March 17th from 9am to 1pm.  After this date, mail-in registrations are accepted, if space is available.  ALWAYS INCLUDE A SELF-STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE FOR CONFIRMATION AND MATERIALS LIST.  Registration checks are payable to the Arnolds Mills Community House.  Material’s fees are payable to the instructor.  Fees are non refundable unless the class is cancelled.  The AMCH is located at the junction of Hillside Road and Abbot Valley Run Road in Cumberland. AQUARIUM – KID’S CLASS:   Children will get to choose from a variety of sea creatures, shells, sea glass and plants to create their special aquarium. Topping off their aquarium will be a waterproof light which can be turned on adding changing color to their undersea creation!  The choice of adding water will be decided by the parent and can be added at home, if desired. As always, a drink and snack will be provided.                           Reg. fee: $5.00. JELLIED LONE STAR QUILT:  We will use a pre-cut jelly roll for a contemporary spin on this traditional quilt design.  Jelly roll strips will be pierced to create the star sections.  Then a complementary background fabric will be added to complete the look of this striking quilt.  It finishes at approximately 59 x 59” but you can customize with borders to give you the size you need.  This is an intermediate skill level quilt using an online free pattern from the Moda Bake Shop site. FANCY WOVEN TOTE BASKET:  This 5 x 13 x 12-inch tote is woven from natural and dyed reeds. The handles are nylon webbing and match the color of the dyed reeds. APRIL VACATION CRAFT FOR KIDS:  Introduction to sewing. Learn to safely operate a sewing machine. Once comfortable with the operation of the machine, pick out materials to assemble a simple pillow case. A few machines will be available but if your child has their own, feel free to bring it along. APRIL VACATION CRAFT FOR KIDS: Children and parents are welcome to a drop-in class for the Kindness Rock Project.  Paint, markers and decorating supplies will be provided. We will have some rocks available, but feel free to bring your own special rock. SPRING LADY BUG WIND CHIME-KIDS CLASS:   What better way to “ring” in the springtime than with an adorable Lady Bug wind chime that your child will be creating in this class.  A red clay pot will be provided as well as paints to decorate, string to hang and chimes to attach.                                                                                                                               Saturday, April 28th  10:00 – 1:00                                                                                               Reg. fee $5   Materials $12.00                                                                                                           Brenda Paquin, Instructor

WINDOWPANE SCARF:  This scarf is the perfect accessory to keep the chill off your neck without feeling bulky. It is an easy two-row repeat pattern for those that know basic crochet stitches. Columns of triple crochet and skipped stitches create a network of open spaces, or , to keep the scarf light and airy. The yarn can be ordered as a group to save shipping or on your own. HANDMADE GREETING CARDS:  Join us for a fun night of paper crafting making handmade greeting cards.  We will use a few different techniques and “tools of the trade” to make our cards. SUN CATCHER/PAPER FLOWERS – CRAFT FOR KIDS:  Using see through beaded materials, glue and a circular frame, your child can let their imagination run wild decorating their very own sun catcher. Once cured (approximately 5 days), their sun catcher can be removed from the frame and can be hung in a sunny window to enjoy. This double your fun class includes making tissue flowers and placing them in a decorated vase as a special Mother’s Day gift. SUMMER ON THE OCEAN PENNY RUG:  Wool felt fabric is used to make this table mat which includes sailboats and nautical themes.
