REGISTRATION FORM In-person registration will be held on Saturday, January 11th from 9am to 1pm. After this date, mail-in registrations are accepted, if space is available. ALWAYS INCLUDE A SELF-STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE FOR CONFIRMATION AND MATERIALS LIST. Registration checks are payable to the Arnolds Mills Community House. Material’s fees are payable to the instructor. Fees are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled. The AMCH is located at the junction of Hillside Road and Abbot Valley Run Road in Cumberland.

SKINNY SCARF OR REVERSIBLE SKINNY SCARF: Both scarfs are crocheted length wise for a day or night accessory. The skinny scarf allows beginner crocheters to work on their skills while the Reversible Scarf provides a challenge for the experienced crocheter. Must know how to crochet. KNITTED COWL: This is a quick and easy cowl that even you can make! It has a lace pattern and closes with a button of your choice. Wednesday, March 11th 6:30-9:30 Reg. fee: $7.00 Nancy Abato, Instructor

TATTING GROUP: Come hang out and Tat. All experience levels welcome. If you are a beginner, the following items are needed: “Learning to Tat”, Jeannette Baker, Tatting shuttle(s), size 10 crochet cotton in two contrasting colors and scissors. Those that already have skills should bring the current project, pattern and any shuttles, thread, scissors that are needed. KID CLASS/LOLLIPOP BUNNIES: Spring is almost here with Easter right around the corner. We will be crafting a bunny family which can be used to decorate or to deliver a “sweet” to someone special. We will be using glue in this class, so please wear play clothes. This craft can be mastered by children 4+. Saturday, March 14th 1:00 – 4:00 Reg. fee: $3.00. BROOMSTICK LACE SCARF OR COWL: Also known as Jiffy Lace or Peacock Eye Crochet, uses a crochet hood and a large sized knitting needle to create a lacy look or peacock eyes. Basic crocheting skills are required. Wednesday, March 18th 6:30 -9:30 Reg. fee: $7.00 Carolyn Martin, Instructor

BIG BEAUTIFUL TOTE BAG IS BACK! If you missed it, this is your chance to make this fun, useful and stylish tote that works up quickly using a precut charm pack . . .or 5” squares from your stash. It looks great in any fabric style or theme. The tote is made using a simple construction method and features an all over patchwork design with two handles, a flap closure and full lining. WATERMELON BASKET: This solid base basket measures 6 x 9 inches. It is ombre dyed to create the look of a watermelon, seeds hand painted. The first night is weaving the basket and the second night is dyeing and painting. Beginners welcomed.

UFO: Have lots of fun with fellow crafters working on your unfinished projects. An instructor will be there to assist you in completing your projects. SAND DOLLAR PENNY RUG:  Get ready for Summer.  This wool felt penny rug has many cream color pennies with reverse applique cut outs. Blanket stitch is used to sew the pennies onto a wool plaid background. This is a 18 x 30 inch mat which is hand stitched using wool threads. STRAIGHT-LINE MACHINE QUILTING: This class will focus on the basics of “machine guided” straight-line quilting using a walking foot or even feed foot/mechanism (not a free motion class!) Skill focus will be on various straight-line designs, machine attachments, freezer paper templates and painter’s tape that add to the ease of this no marking technique. You’ll soon be creating beautiful machine quilted designs that anyone can do on a domestic machine to achieve just the look you want!
