Senior Yoga

The Senior Yoga Class provides connection to your body and breath with slow, mindful movements with care not to over extend oneself. The focus is on improving flexibility, balance, stability, breath flow and relaxation. Postures are taught seated, standing and floor positions.  Individual attention and assistance are given where needed.

Advanced Yoga

This Yoga Class is for those seeking a far more extensive yoga workout.  Downward Dog, Forward Fold, Plank and Backbend postures require very good stamina, balance, and flexibility for these more extreme positions when the head is lowered below the knees. Postures that strengthen core muscles, focus on alignment, flow, and relaxation.

Knitten Mitten Class

Learn how to knit cozy mittens in the round using dpns or circular needles. Supply list and pattern will be given out at registration. This is not a beginner class.

Baby Paisley Basket

This 6”X8” handle basket might be small, but it is loaded with design. Plaited corners and a Butterfly knot on the wooden handle makes this basket special. If you are a beginner to basket making you can just make the basket, without the intricate designs, on the first night only.

CPR Classes

ARNOLDS MILLS COMMUNITY HOUSE WILL BE OFFERING FREE CPR/FIRST AID/AED COURSES in Spring and Fall of EACH YEAR.   The Cumberland Rescue will lead the instruction. With the warm weather approaching you will be spending more time dining outdoors. We will be making a delicious lunch menu for family or friends to enjoy. Pull Apart Blue Cheese Twirl, Carrot Dill soup, Gorgonzola Torte, Crowed Salad, and Blueberry Lemon Cupcakes.
